Why Serve

What the job actually involves

  • TimeA few hours a month, plus meetings
  • PayNone. Every director is a volunteer
  • TermElected by the owners at the annual meeting
  • DecisionsBudgets, vendors, common property, enforcement

A board seat is the only way an owner gets a direct vote on how the association spends its money, which contractors it hires and how the rules are enforced. It is also, honestly, the only way the work gets done — there are five seats and 262 homes.
